Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often called “tapping,” is a gentle yet powerful mind-body practice that helps release emotional blocks, ease physical discomfort, and restore inner balance. Developed in the 1990s by Gary Craig, EFT blends ancient Chinese acupressure with modern psychological principles. By lightly tapping on specific meridian points while focusing on troubling thoughts or feelings, EFT is designed to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote emotional well-being.

This process helps to:

  • Release the negative charge around painful memories or thoughts

  • Restore balance within the body’s energy system

  • Support emotional, psychological, and physical wellbeing

 

EFT is gentle, non‑judgmental, and non‑invasive. It can be used in a wide variety of scenarios and often brings quick results without unwanted side effects.

During our virtual appointments (via Zoom or Skype), I’ll guide you step by step through the tapping process while you follow along. Together, we’ll create a safe and supportive space for you to release stress and restore balance.

•First appointment (75 mins): introduction to EFT, explanation of the process, and demonstration of tapping points

•Follow up sessions (60 mins): tailored to your needs and goals

•Flexibility: some clients achieve their desired results in 1–2 sessions, while others prefer ongoing support—it’s entirely your choice

•Preparation: choose a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed, switch off phones/alarms, and have a glass of water nearby

•Rescheduling: appointments can be rearranged without charge if notice is given.​​​
